Henry's Cafe

Henry's café was a very popular place to meet for motorized people south of Stockholm, Sweden.
It was located close by the Skarpnäck airfield, in an area called Pungpinan. The airfield was built during WW2 but was never used for military purposes.
Instead, local clubs of wing gliders and private planes used the strips.
In the 1960s, there were car racing events on an international level.
In the early 1950s, Henry Lindelöf, an excentric man, bought an old kiosk at the place, and extended the premises to a large place housing a restaurant, café and music evenings.
He had a real living crocodile in a pond and several parrots at the café.
The place had its peak during the 1960s, until Henry sold it.
