Gilbert Cruz' 1955 Chevrolet
1955 Chevrolet Bel Air restyled by Cerny's Body Shop for Gilbert Cruz of Compton, California. The car was lowered by channeling the body 7 inches over the frame. The stock taillights were replaced by 1955 Oldsmobile units. The side trim were altered with only two horizontal pieces used. Powder blue and white were used inside the trim. The parking lights were frenched, and the hood was shaved and peaked. Chromed cane mesh material was used in the grille, together with two chromed bars inserted to form a diamond shape.
