Frank De Rosa's 1960 Cadillac - The Shark
1960 Cadillac owned and restyled by Frank De Rosa at De Rosa Custom Body and Fender. De Rosa sold both the Shark and the Golden Piranha to Bob Bowen of Lodi, California.[1]
Deteriorating
In June of 2022, the Sharkmobile was sitting outside, deteriorating. According to John Wright, the current owner had only had it for a short time. "His father had a very unique collection of Cadillac customized cars." Unfortunately, the son had no place to house them.[2]
For Sale
In November of 2022, the Shark was back at DeRosa Customs, in the possession of Frank DeRosa Jr.. The car is in need of restoration after sitting outside in the wet Washington climate. Frank has decided to sell the car, and he is accepting offers. If you are interested in becoming the caretaker of the Shark you can get in touch with Frank DeRosa Jr. at 925-439-5115.
