1952 Ford Station Wagon restyled by Barris Kustoms for Chuck DeWitt of Los Angeles, California. Chuck's Ford sported a Cadillac OHV engine. The grille shell was reworked by splicing together two 1953 Ford griulle shells and filled with checkered mesh screen. The car was nosed, the headlights were frenched and dual spotlights were added. In rear, fake air scoops were made in the rear fenders. Novel trim styling was made by 1953 Dodge components, checkered mesh screen was used to fill the trim area.. The taillights rims were frenched and lences were replaced by 1953 Ford reflectors, allowing 1952 Ford parking lights plastic spinners to be installed.[1] Chuck was a geologist student by the time and used the car for weekend treks into the dessert prospecting for uranium.[2]
