Bengt Andersson's 1955 Chevrolet
1955 Chevrolet convertible owned and restyled by Bengt Andersson of Sweden. Bengt's Chevrolet was originally owned by Radio Syd entrepreneur Britt Wadner. Bengt's Chevrolet was shown as "Escapade" at the 1967 Hot Rod Show.[1]This version featured Vauxhall Cresta taillights, an asymmetrical sunken name plate on the deck lid and split nerf bar rear bumpers. In 1968 it was show as "El Libre" at the Hot Rod Show in Stockholm. Bengt did also attend First Go at Anderstorp in 1968 with the Chevrolet.[2]
Bengt still owned the car in 2015. That version was restored back to original and painted in a Gypsy Red.[2]
