1959 Chevrolet Impala restyled by Barris Kustoms for Norman Wesp of Anoka, Minnesota. Up front, a straight grille bar with 1954 Chevrolet grille teeth, which fit awfully well together with the stock four headlight setup. The hood was shaved and the hood airscoops were filled-in to achieve a more refreshing and smooth look. The door handles were left alone but the deck lid was pushbutton-operated. The side trims were extended in the rear and leads back to the molded taillights which housed a pair of 1957 DeSoto station wagon lenses. The metal around the lights were extended four inches, and a ridge blends into the area beneath the deck lid. Once the bodywork was done, it was painted Kandy red.[1]
