Michael Malamphy's 1953 Plymouth Convertible, The Golden Aztec, of Ansonia, Connecticut was restyled around 1958.

Michael Malamphy of Ansonia, Connecticut began restyling cars in 1955. Mike was in charge of a loan office in New Haven, and did the customizing in his friends auto body shops. By 1958 he had built three customs and collected 17 trophies on his creations.[1]
