Johnny's Ford as it looked in 1949.

1940 Ford restyled by Arthur Lellis and Jerry Moffatt of Olive Hill Garage for Johnny Williams of San Francisco, California. Art and Jerry chopped the top 3-4 inches. Fenderskirts were installed, and the taillights were cut into 1940 Mercury bumper guards. Both front and rear bumpers were 1940 Lincoln Zephyr units.[1] A small photo of John's Coupe was published in Hot Rod Magazine February 1949, the photo caption describes the car as a full race '40 coupe.[2]
