1957 Ford Ranchero restyled by Branson's Custom Shop for George Mitobe of Artesia, California.[1] The car featured two sets of 1956 Buick Roadmaster trim, one reversed. The hood was shaved and louvered, and a lowered wire mesh grille was made. In the rear, the car was dechromed and fit with a set of 1958 Edsel Station Wagon tail-lights, before a nerf bar setup was installed. Lakes pipes and custom hubcaps were also put on the car.[2]

The most striking feature on George Mitobe's kustom Ranchero is the paint job by Larry Watson of Watson's House of Style featuring gold scalloping/panel and flame outlining over a metallic green base. Watson also used chrome tape on the top and around the windows. Henry Contreras, that knew George back in the days, believes George painted it green, while Watson applied the scallops and striping.[1]The interior was done in white Naugahyde rolls & pleats with green trim and piping. A white tonneau covered the bed.[3]
