Bill Davis' 1932 Ford Roadster as it appeared in 1950. Bill was a member of the Glendale Stokers, and raced his roadster at the dry lakes.
Neil Emory's 1937 Dodge Convertible of Burbank, California, was started in 1940 and completed in 1941. Built in his shop class at Burbank High, Neil kept the car for a couple of years before selling it in 1943.
Jerry Moffatt's 1939 Ford Convertible of Los Angeles, California. Restyled by Jerry at Olive Hill Garage, the build was completed in 1946. [Cruz Palma

Neil Emory's 1940 Buick Super Sedan of Burbank, California was restyled around 1949/1950. Neil ran Valley Custom Shop, and had little time restyling his own cars.
Fred Rowe's 1951 Mercury Convertible, of Los Angeles, California was restyled by Barris Kustoms. The build was completed in 1953. A second version of the Merc, restyled in 1954 was featured in the movie Running Wild along with Bob Hirohata's 1951 Mercury. In 1987 the Merc was owned by Conrad Gonzalis of Burbank. Conrad had inherited the old custom from his dad.
So-Cal Speed Shop was located at 1104 S. Victory Blvd in burbank. This ad is from 1948.
