1949 Ford Convertible restyled and owned by Bob Mikko of Seattle, Washington. Bob nosed, decked and removed the door handles from the body. These were all operated by electric switches. The deck lid was pinstriped. A set of lakes pipes handmade by Bob and installed. The front end was modified by frenching the headlights, installing a 1951 Ford top grille bar and a custom grille made out of a 1955 Dodge split grille with a pair of inverted spotlights molded in on both sides. The stock trim was combined with 1957 DeSoto trim spears, these separated the two-tone light and dark blue paint job. Air scoops were flared into the fender skirts and trim teeth were fit to the openings. The stock taillights were retained, but they were frenched and tunneled. The exhaust pipes were routed through the 1954 Kaiser bumper guard. The exotic interior was stitched by Paul's Top Shop, it was done in gray and black with contrasting white. Floor rugs consisted of salt and pepper color with rolled white pads. The steering column was covered as well. First-aid kit, safety seat belts and tachometer were added as extra accessory. A 45 RPM player was fit in front of the rear seat, it was operated by a 6-volt converter.[1]
