1949 Mercury 4-door restyled by Barris Kustoms for Bill Busch. Bill's Mercury was nosed, decked and shaved for handles. The headlights were frenched using 1953 Ford headlight rims. The front gravel deflector between the bumper and body was welded. The hood was rounded and peaked. A floating grille bar with integrated direction lights was installed in the smooth grille cavity. The taillights were re-located in the rear bumper guard. Barris added dual spotlights and 1953 Lincoln hubcaps as well.[1]
