1948 DeSoto Kustom built by B. H. Martin of Illinois. Up front Martin modified the car with a 1948 Cadillac grille. The hood was shaved, and parking lights from a 1949 Mercury were added. The trunk was also shaved, and tail lights from a 1950 Oldsmobile were installed. In order to lower the car in the rear, the rear end was blocked 2 1/2 inches.
