Tom Biles' 1958 Ford Convertible - Perfidia
1958 Ford convertible owned by Tom Biles of Tonawanda, New York. Tom bought the car brand new. In 1960 he drove it to Detroit to have it restyled by the Alexander Brothers. After the Alexander Brothers had restyled the car it became known as "Perfidia."[1]
Honeymoon
Tom sold the car in 1962, during his honeymoon.[1]
Phil Durante
The Perfidia is still around, and it is owned by Phil Durrante of Utica, New York. The car is rusted out behind all the lead work, and is very rusty. Phil wanted to fix the car up for the Alexander Brothers gathering at the Detroit Autorama, but since it was too far gone to get done in time he put it back in storage.[2]
