1954 Ford restyled by the Alexander Brothers for Walter Young of Detroit, Michigan. After high school, Walter became a barber, and he could afford the Alexander Brothers build him a custom. Lee Ewald lived across the street from Walter, and he remembers the Ford having the look of a trademark Alexander Brothers custom. It was lowered. Lower in the back than in the front, and it had full fender skirts. All the hood ornaments were removed and smoothed as well as the trunk. Walter believes it had shaved door handles with solenoids, but he is not sure about that. The car was painted a beautiful white metallic, and it was the envy of their neighborhood.[1]
