Lawrence W. Grobe of Schaumburg, Illinois. Lawrence, also known as "VooDoo Larry," started building cars in his driveway at age 18. He was a staple at local cruise nights and car shows, and everyone looked forward to the spring to see what Larry had done to his cars during the long winter. Larry went on to open up Voodoo Larry Kustoms, a 4,500 square feet shop.[1]
