Tom McNamara's 1955 Chevrolet
1955 Chevrolet Bel Air restyled by Art Lehner of Art Chrome Body Shop for Tom McNamara of Hollydale, California. The car was moderate restyled by shaving and peaking the hood. The vertical bars in the grille were removed, a neat and simple custom trick which made the car cleaner. The door handles and rear deck latch were removed and electrical push buttons were installed. Appleton spotlights were installed along with lakes pipes. Custom spinner-type hubcaps were installed. The rear quarter-panels were restyled with 1956 Buick taillights. The interior was done in tuck & roll Naugahyde upholstery, including the headliner. The car was painted by Kinch's Body Shop. Pinstriping was done by Baron, Roth and Kelly.[1]
