1957 Ford Ranch Wagon owned and restyled by Scotty Berguson of California. It was not common back then to restyle station wagons, however Scotty did not care, and he managed to turn his dull stock wagon into a neat custom! In order to get the right stance, he cut 2 1/2 coils from the front springs, and added 4" lowering blocks in the rear. He got hold of a pair of Mercury skirts, which were de-chromed and installed. The factory grille had to go in favor of a 1956 Plymouth grille bar, which suits these model year Fords excellent! Other modifications of the front, was a shaved hood. For taillights, he used single lenses from a 1958 Ford, which were installed by using a backing of aluminum, trimmed to fit. The stock color of the car was light tan, Scotty made the car more exiting by painting scallops, done in a golden chocolate color. Dodge Lancer hubcaps wrapped up the style of the wagon.[1]
