Johnny Williams' 1940 Ford
1940 Ford restyled by Arthur Lellis and Jerry Moffatt of Olive Hill Garage for Johnny Williams of San Francisco, California. Art and Jerry chopped the top 3-4 inches. Fenderskirts were installed, and the taillights were cut into 1940 Mercury bumper guards. Both front and rear bumpers were 1940 Lincoln Zephyr units. A small photo of John's Coupe was published in Hot Rod Magazine February 1949, the photo caption describes the car as a full race '40 coupe.
