Joan's Ford as it appeared in Motor Life May 1957.

1950 Ford restyled by Gene Winfield of Winfield's Custom Shop for Joan Van DerKamp. Joan's convertible was given a mild modification with a new look to the front end with frenched and scooped headlights, and a Cadillac grille. A lip was molded around the grille. At the rear, Winfield inset 1953 Studebaker taillights and created a roll extending from the base into the trunk lid. All handles were filled and the bumpers had hidden bolts.[1]
