In 1959, Jim sent pictures of his neat 1932 Ford to Custom Rodder, requesting them to show them in their magazine.

1932 Ford Coupe owned by Jim Broadhead of Topeka, Wichita, Kansas. Jim's fenderless coupe featured a 3/4 59A Ford Flathead bolted to a 1939 Ford transmission with a 4.11 rear end. 1951 Pontiac taillights were fit to the body. The interior was upholstered in red and white, all rolled and pleated. The dashboard was modified by adding 1949 Buick instruments.[1]
