1938 Ford DeLuxe Convertible Sedan restyled by George Bistagne and Tom Bistagne of the Bistagne Custom Auto Shop in Glendale, California. George bought the car in 1940 and immediately took it to Roy Hagy's shop in Vermont. George filled the hood sides and top of the grille. The windshield eas chopped 2,75 inches and Carson Top Shop installed a padded top using 1934 Ford Cabriolet rear door windows, giving it a rounded rear corner to the window and top. The rear license plate was inset in the deck lid and a pair of 1939 Ford taillights were installed in the fenders. The running boards were removed and California Metal Shaping Company created a pair of running board covers. The stock bumpers were replaced with 1937 DeSoto ripple bumpers. Once the bodywork was finished the body was painted 1941 Buick maroon metalic. Dual spotlights and Hollywood Flipper Hubcaps wrapped up the style.[1]

George sold the Ford to Rudy Vasques of Glendale in 1948. George traced the car down through several owners later, but the trace went cold when he reached to the 1980's.[1]
